Accurate catalog data is not a side project.

It is how parts get found, sold, and trusted.

InterWest Technology Group provides automotive cataloging data analysis and management services. We help manufacturers, brand owners, and aftermarket suppliers keep product and fitment data compliant with Auto Care ACES and PIES standards—and consistent with the information you already maintain internally.

We also deliver catalog files to AutoZone, NAPA, O’Reilly, Amazon, and Advance Auto. Each of those destinations enforces catalog requirements that reach past the base ACES and PIES specifications.

The problem we solve

When ACES or PIES data is incomplete, overlapping, or out of date, the cost shows up downstream:

  • Missed applications and lost sales
  • Wrong-part returns
  • Marketplace and distributor rejection
  • Hours spent reconciling supplier files against your own catalog
  • Fitment that looks complete in a spreadsheet and fails in a lookup

We work on both sides of that problem: your data, and your suppliers’ data.

What we do

  • Analyze existing ACES and PIES files against current Auto Care standards
  • Manage ongoing catalog quality so files stay current after the first cleanup
  • Align customer information and fitment data with published catalog records
  • Work with part suppliers to raise the quality of the files they send you
  • Clean up and classify part images, including views such as top view, for inclusion in online catalogs
  • Research, classify, and document part attributes to the Auto Care Part Attribute database (PAdb) standard
  • Manage part supersessions in your catalog data and issue a monthly supersession report
  • Deliver catalog files to AutoZone, NAPA, O’Reilly, Amazon, and Advance Auto, meeting the program-specific file rules each retailer layers on top of Auto Care ACES and PIES

Who we work with

Brand owners, manufacturers, and aftermarket organizations that publish or consume electronic catalog data—and need it to be reliable at the point of lookup.

How engagement starts

Most clients begin with a focused catalog review: a sample of ACES/PIES files, a short findings report, and a recommended work plan. No software platform to buy. No storefront. Just data work done to a standard.
